Job summary

Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club is seeking a Senior Bartender to lead our bar staff and deliver exceptional service to members and guests. You will craft cocktails, oversee inventory, and collaborate with leadership on wine pairings and menu experiences.

The role requires high-end service experience, knowledge of beverages, and a strong focus on safety and operations within a luxury club environment near Austin, Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven leadership skills in Food and Beverage operations at a high end or luxury setting.
• 2–3 years of bartending experience in fast-paced luxury environments.
• Knowledge of HACCP and local food safety standards; able to obtain State Food Safety Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bar staff to ensure exceptional service and communication with members, guests, and team members.
• Greet guests and anticipate needs to enhance experience and respond promptly.
• Partner with leadership to create beverage pairings and memorable experiences for members and guests.
• Supervise and train bar staff on SOPs of bar operation, including drink prep, POS entries, and setup/breakdown.
• Maintain bar inventories, assist with stocking, and monitor perishable items and safety standards.
• Craft cocktails following recipes and house-made ingredients; ensure accurate pours and service.
