Job summary

Discovery Land Company’s Maverick Golf and Ranch Club in Texas seeks a Bartender to deliver exceptional service in a high-end F&B environment. You will craft cocktails, guide pairings, and ensure accurate, friendly service to members and guests.

Responsibilities include working with culinary and F&B leaders to uphold standards, managing POS transactions, maintaining bar cleanliness, and supporting a team-driven, safety-conscious dining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-end establishment.
• Knowledge of local food safety standards and ability to obtain State Food Safety Certificate.
• Strong wine and beverage knowledge; keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with culinary and F&B leaders to uphold exemplary standards.
• Provide exceptional service and communication with members, guests and staff.
• Greet guests, anticipate needs, and respond promptly with urgency.
• Craft cocktails, follow recipes, and serve beverages to company standards.
• Recommend beverages and wine pairings based on preferences.
• Understand menu items; monitor allergens and daily specials.
• Process POS transactions accurately and close sales according to policies.
• Keep bar and storage areas clean; manage stocking and opening/closing tasks.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
