Job summary

Mauna Kea Resort seeks an experienced bartender to greet guests, craft cocktails and handle payments with a POS system. You’ll maintain a clean bar, verify IDs, and assist with inventory while delivering friendly, efficient service in a resort environment.

Requires 3+ years of bartending experience, ability to multi-task, and a positive guest-focused attitude. Must be 18+ with DH Clear and work in Hawaii's Waimea area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related work experience.
• Must read and write to perform duties.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be pleasant, smiling and friendly.
• County Liquor Commission Blue Card preferred, or acquired within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and personalize service.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks promptly.
• Process payments and operate POS accurately.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure proper cash handling and reporting.
• Assist with inventory and restocking as needed.
• Follow liquor laws and verify IDs for service.
• Coordinate with hotel staff to meet guest requests.
