Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• One year of experience as a Bartender or similar position at a 4-star hotel or restaurant required; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs; respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
• Review assignments with the manager on duty and adapt to the day’s schedule.
• Communicate additions or changes to assignments during shift.
• Coordinate setup, maintenance, and breakdown of the bar area with supplies and equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of wine, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic drinks, glassware, garnishes, menu items, preparation methods, ingredients, and prices; comply with liquor laws.
• Prepare and stock beverages per recipes and guest preferences; ensure fresh juices, fruits, syrups, and garnishes are available.
• Handle wares carefully to avoid breakage and loss; report damages or safety hazards.
• Follow Health Department, sanitation, and safety regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
