Job summary

The Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel, managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking an experienced Banquet & Catering Manager to oversee banquet operations, catering events, and the execution of meetings, conferences, weddings, social gatherings, and other special events.

This position coordinates with Sales, Culinary, hotel leadership, and other departments to ensure client expectations, Marriott brand standards, and Pyramid operating standards are met while achieving revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Banquet management experience in hospitality.
• Event coordination across meetings, conferences, weddings, and catered functions.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet and catering functions.
• Coordinate with Sales and Catering to ensure accurate requirements and timely communication.
• Lead banquet staff, manage staffing and service standards across events.
