Job summary

Hilton-DFW-Lakes is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to lead our team in delivering exceptional service for high-volume events.

You will oversee setup, service, and breakdown, coordinate staff, and ensure client requirements are met while maintaining safety standards and a polished guest experience.

Flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays are expected as events demand. Benefits include medical/dental and hotel staff perks.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Banquet Captain or similar leadership role in a high-volume hospitality environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with clients and staff.
• Ability to lead a team under pressure while maintaining service standards.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all standards are met.
• Lead and coordinate banquet staff to deliver high-quality service in a high-volume setting.
• Communicate effectively with clients, banquet staff, and management to ensure event requirements are fulfilled.
• Monitor service flow and address any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with menu presentation and table arrangements as needed.
• Manage time efficiently to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly and on schedule.
