Job summary

Offit Kurman seeks an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to support its litigation and restructuring practice in either Los Angeles or Dallas. The role requires at least six years of litigation experience with a strong bankruptcy background, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 matters.

The paralegal will assist attorneys from inception through resolution, handling filings, docketing, document gathering, and discovery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, petitions and motions.

• Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, discovery materials, and court filings.
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel with accuracy and timeliness.
