Job summary

Provident Bank is seeking a Senior Customer Support Specialist to handle inbound calls from customers, interpret needs, troubleshoot, and provide solutions with a focus on accuracy and security. The role covers ATM and debit card services, account information, and banking products, while aligning with bank policies and evolving procedures.

You will join a hybrid, full-time contact center operating Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, ensuring coverage within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years Call Center or Banking experience.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptive, flexible, resourceful in a fast-changing environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and alphanumeric data entry.
• Ability to communicate clearly to customers and co-workers.
• Ability to work well both as a team member and independently.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule according to contact center hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding ATM and debit card services.
• Receive inbound calls and assist clients with banking needs.
• Ask questions to uncover needs and direct to appropriate staff.
• Create and mail customer correspondence; research transactions as needed.
• Meet or exceed service targets including follow-ups and call quality.
