Northern Trust is seeking a skilled Client Servicing professional to serve as the initial contact for complex client inquiries and to implement sophisticated banking solutions for wealth management clients. The role supports bankers during account administration, due diligence, and credit opportunities.

This position requires knowledge of banking products and internal banking functions, plus strong analytical and organizational abilities with 5+ years in financial servicing and client servicing

Qualifications

• Knowledge of banking products and services is required.

• Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills required
• 5+ years' experience, or equivalent, in financial servicing/accounting fields with client servicing background

Responsabilités

• Acts as initial contact for complex client or partner inquiries for banking products and services and assists with implementing complex banking solutions for WM clients.
• Assists bankers with internal administration of accounts, business development and client presentations including due diligence at credit opportunities.
• Acts as liaison with National Credit Center at inception and throughout Credit underwriting process.
• Coordinates with CSST to execute daily client transaction activity and transaction processing including fees, payments and borrowing; handles inquiry resolution; obtains documentation for underwriting and credit file maintenance; updates systems information; executes client servicing events.
• Coordinates with CSST on deposit related transaction processing including account opening, exception clearing, overdrafts.
• Oversees development of action plans for client servicing and coordinates with team members for execution and follow-up.
• Acts as resource for the relationship servicing team for highly complex WM relationships.
• Develops understanding of clients’ needs behind service requests and communicates to service partners; gathers information to facilitate service challenges.
• Identifies service efficiency enhancements and process improvements.
• Communicates with clients regularly about account setup/status, past due loans, and document requests.
