Barclays in New York seeks a US Bank Regulatory Legal Director to join the Global Legal Team. This is a permanent role based in New York, reporting to Head of U.S. Bank Regulatory Legal.

The role provides legal guidance on U.S. bank regulatory matters and supports regulatory capital issuances and investigations. You will provide legal advice across the Americas, lead cross-functional regulatory initiatives, engage with regulators, and balance legal risk with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience focusing on bank regulatory matters.
• Experience advising senior management and interacting with regulators (Federal Reserve, NY DFS, OCC, and FDIC).
• Strong ability to balance legal, regulatory, and business considerations.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional regulatory initiatives.
• New York law license required.
