You will advise on federal and state banking laws, financial services compliance, and governance, while supporting bank regulatory dealings and strategic transactions.

The ideal candidate will manage ongoing client matters, develop relationships, and contribute to firm growth. A J.D. from an ABA-accredited school and active U.S.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years advising financial institutions on banking and financial services regulatory matters.
• Deep familiarity with federal and state banking regulations and regulatory agencies.
• Experience handling bank mergers and acquisitions, regulatory examinations, compliance matters, enforcement issues, corporate governance, vendor management, or regulatory aspects of transactions.

Aufgaben

• Advise banks and non-bank financial institutions on federal and state banking laws and regulations.
• Counsel clients on regulatory compliance, consumer compliance, capital planning, governance, examinations, enforcement matters, vendor management, payment systems, and risk management.
• Support regulatory interactions with OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve, CFPB and state regulators; assist with mergers, acquisitions, branch transactions, change-in-control matters, and charter activities.
