Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., a premier Midwest law firm, seeks an experienced attorney with 10+ years in banking and financial services regulation to join our Des Moines team. You will advise banks and financial institutions on federal and state laws, support regulatory examinations, and help structure bank M&A and governance matters.

You will draft opinions and filings, collaborate across practices, and contribute to client growth and business development while maintaining the highest standards of

Competenze

• 10+ years advising financial institutions on banking and regulatory matters.
• Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Licensed attorney in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; ability to promptly get admitted in Minnesota.

Mansioni

• Advise banks and non-bank financial institutions on federal and state banking laws and regulations.
• Counsel clients on regulatory compliance, consumer compliance, capital planning, governance, examinations, enforcement matters, vendor management, payment systems, and risk management.
• Assist clients with interactions involving OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve, CFPB, state regulators and other agencies.
• Support clients in mergers, acquisitions, branch transactions, change-in-control matters, and charter-related activities.
• Draft legal opinions, memoranda, policies, procedures, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, securities, real estate, finance, litigation, employment, privacy, and tax practices.
• Participate in business development and contribute to firm growth.
