Job summary

Lone Star National Bank seeks a Senior Banking Data & Customer Insights Analyst to translate business questions into concrete analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights. You will work with leaders across lending, deposits, and risk to develop dashboards, metrics, and reports that drive profitability and customer relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in banking data analysis, strong skills in Power BI/Tableau, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to executives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, data analytics, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct banking experience and relevant experience in financial services, business analysis, data analysis, finance, operations, and related areas.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar visual reporting tools; SQL knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML, risk controls, and regulatory requirements applicable to banking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a banking subject-matter specialist for the data and analytics team to deliver high-value insights.
• Translate banking needs into clear analytical requirements, business rules, and measurable outcomes.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, analytical models, and performance measures.
• Collaborate with leaders across lending, deposits, branches, treasury, and risk to validate findings.
