Job summary

Charles Schwab Orlando is seeking a Senior Banker to partner with Schwab Wealth Advisory clients, providing banking, credit, and trust solutions for high-net-worth relationships.

You’ll work with Schwab Sales, Credit, Operations, and Trust teams to tailor lending, deposit and trust structures, manage client onboarding, and guide loans from application to funding.

The role requires Series 7 and 63/65 licenses (NMLS within 90 days) and a commitment to Schwab’s client-first, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years lending consult and business development experience in Financial Services or with HNW/UHNW clients.
• Expert knowledge of mortgage products including residential mortgages, HELOC, and securities-based loans.
• Ability to analyze cash flow and balance sheets of HNW/UHNW clients and develop personal financial statements.
• Diplomacy, discretion, and professionalism; screen, manage and/or decline transactions while maintaining relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication; exceptional presentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities with Schwab teammates, HNW/UHNW clients, and matrix partners.
• Strong collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail; multi-task and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong command of mortgage underwriting guidelines; formal credit training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise Schwab Wealth Advisory clients on banking, deposits, and trust solutions including products, pricing and deal structures.
• Partner with Schwab teammates in assigned geographies to discuss Schwab Wealth Advisory client base and identify lending, deposit and trust opportunities.
• Establish reputation of execution and excellence; gain confidence of Schwab Partners to fully develop lending, deposit and trust opportunities.
• Develop and present lending, deposit and trust solutions; consult partners, such as credit specialists, as needed.
• Take ownership of banking client experience from initial contact to loan funding or account establishment, working with partners and third-party providers.
• Work with and communicate effectively with Schwab partners.
• Identify complex transaction structures early (entity, trust, guarantor, co-op, etc.).
• Maintain full awareness of status for all Schwab Wealth Advisory banking applications and liaison for all parties.
• Address issues surfaced during loan process and assist with underwriting requests.
