Job summary

gpac is seeking a Compliance Officer for a banking client in Missouri. The role oversees training, monitoring reviews, policies, and product development with each department, ensuring adherence to protection laws through periodic process reviews.

Responsibilities include BSA/AML/OFAC compliance, SAR/CTR filing, committee participation, training oversight, and regulatory liaison. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's, 7–10 years banking with 3–5 in compliance and strong data skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years banking experience with 3–5 years in compliance.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of consumer protection regulations (TRID-RESPA, UDAAP, FCRA, HMDA) and BSA/CRA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of BSA, AML, OFAC and bank-related compliance.
• Use monitoring applications and maintain investigation files.
• Prepare BSA/AML Risk Assessments and identify risk and gaps.
• Oversee SARs and CTRs preparation and filing.
• Serve on the Compliance Committee and IT Steering Committee.
• Assign and monitor annual BSA training for Board and employees.
• Meet with Examiners and Auditors regarding the BSA program.
• Review projects for BSA and compliance issues.
• Monitor Identity Theft Program effectiveness and report to the Board.
