Job summary

The candidate will generate rocket motor concepts from high-level requirements and refine into detailed grain and nozzle designs, collaborating with design, chemist, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 10-12 years' experience in engineering.
• Engineering degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge and experience in product innovation, R&D, and design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Develop rocket motor concepts to meet customer requirements.
• Refine grain geometries and optimize burn rates, thrust and pressure curves.
• Lead static fire test campaigns and analyze data to validate performance.
• Oversee propellant casting and manufacturing oversight.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, chemists, and analysts to ensure producible designs.
