You will lead cross-functional teams, design robust formulations, evaluate ingredient functionality, and partner with contractors to ensure cost savings, supply continuity, and quality.

This role requires 6+ years in food product development, a relevant degree, and strong project management; travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of food product development experience in bread/bakery or adjacent baked goods categories.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Manage cost savings, quality, and supply continuity across cross-functional teams.
• Design and optimize formulations for bread, buns, rolls, and related bakery products.
• Lead bench development, pilot plant trials, and scale-up activities.
• Support technology transfer and manufacturing readiness across the network.
