Job summary

Campbell's is seeking a Senior Scientist, R&D – Snacks Bakery to join the Snacks Research & Development team. You will act as a technical leader, developing and commercializing bakery products with a focus on bread, buns, and rolls, while supporting adjacent baked snacks as needed.

The role requires strong bakery science expertise, product development experience, and a consumer-centric mindset to deliver differentiated products that meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of food product development experience in bakery categories.
• Experience leading product development projects from concept through commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead multiple product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Lead bench and plant development, with cost savings and business continuity focus.
• Develop experimental plans to meet consumer, business, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver results.
