Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator III to run automated equipment, diagnose issues, assist with preventative maintenance and ensure sanitation. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork within a production setting.

You will master Enterprise software inputs that affect production and financial systems, while maintaining product safety, legality and quality standards. Training and team participation are essential.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency plus a technical certification (HVAC or auto maintenance/repair).
• Equivalent military training or 45 college credits may substitute.
• Technical certification including AIB 'Science of Baking' may apply.

Responsibilities

• Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and work reporting times.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times while on duty.
• May be assigned to operate facility metal detector(s); must be trained and certified.
• Comply with work rules, safety rules, and GMPs.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
