Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a seasoned production leader to direct manufacturing and sanitation activities, ensure product quality, and meet profit goals at the primary work location.

The role requires interaction across departments and adherence to safety and quality standards. Ideal candidate has extensive experience in production management, strong commitment to compliance, and the ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience. Completion of AIB Master Baker program and completion of formal management skills training.

Responsibilities

• Directs subordinates in meeting all quality and regulatory standards such as OSHA, FDA, AIB.
• Maintain a pleasant and safe working environment for all employees and contract workers
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Direct subordinates in daily production activities and demands
• Set production goals for subordinates to meet
• Review and approve purchases and expenditures and assist in request for capital projects
• Order, receive, and store supplies
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sar-banes Oxley, etc.)
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and practicing and complying

Education
