Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to direct shift production, monitor formulas, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. You will lead production staff, review procedures, and maintain equipment readiness to support consistent output.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safe work practices, and collaboration across departments to meet production goals and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in all areas of plant production work.
• Completion of formal management skills training is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent; AIB Bakery Science Residence Program completed.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation of shift production, including checking formulas and assigning tasks to ensure adherence to standards.
• Review records to ensure proper use of time and materials and perform quality inspections.
• Ensure all equipment is in good operating condition and maintain a safe working environment.
• Plan and adjust work assignments to cover all production phases; train and supervise staff as needed.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures and participate in disciplinary processes as necessary.
