Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a seasoned quality professional to oversee Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and regulatory compliance across the bakery facility.

You will lead the site quality and food safety team to assure production of high-quality, safe, and compliant products that meet design and customer expectations. Responsibilities include audits, corrective actions, KPI management, GFSI program implementation, and maintaining the Quality Manual in line with company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plant quality assurance/quality control experience in the food industry.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• B.S. in Food Science, Food Technology, Cereal Chemistry, Chemistry, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GMP, food safety, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Lead site quality and food safety team to ensure safe, compliant products.
• Manage audits and third-party inspections.
• Maintain KPI tracking for food safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with GFSI standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain Quality Manual and documentation per company standards.
