Job summary

Target in Minneapolis is seeking a Senior Merchandise Planner to own in-season forecasting, assortment planning, and financial strategy across categories. You will serve as the finance link between Merchandising and Supply Chain, guiding open-to-buy decisions and category investments while partnering with cross-functional teams and vendors.

You’ll interpret forecast results, perform what-if analyses, validate promo planning, and lead initial set planning to optimize assortments, ensuring

Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
6-10 years of relevant experience.
4+ years of Merchandising experience.
Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills; can easily translate data from an array of sources into insights and recommendations.
Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams.
Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in “grey areas” that are constantly changing.

Responsibilities
