Job summary

Target in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Merchandise Planner to lead financial forecasting and open-to-buy for assigned categories. You will partner with Merchandising and Supply Chain to translate data into actionable plans that support sales and inventory goals.

You will analyze performance, guide localization strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to optimize assortments and in-season decisions in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
2-6 years of relevant experience.
3+ years of Merchandising experience.
Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills.
Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams.
Flexible and comfortable with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead financial forecasting and open-to-buy for assigned categories.
Partner with Merchandising and Supply Chain to translate data into plans.
Provide in-season decision support and performance analysis.
Coordinate assortment planning and localization strategies.
Interpret forecast results and communicate implications to vendors.
