Job summary

Target is seeking a Merchandise Planner in Minneapolis to manage financials and forecasting for a major business. You’ll analyze holiday and seasonal performance, link Merchandising with Supply Chain, and guide open-to-buy and assortment decisions to support projected sales.

The role requires a four-year degree, 2-6 years of merchandising experience, and strong analytical and collaborative skills. Office presence in downtown Minneapolis is expected Mon-Thu with a potential Friday work-from-home

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of Merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze holiday or seasonal performance reports to inform the Inventory team’s work.
• Serve as the hub between Merchandising and Supply Chain to link financials with assortments.
• Lead open-to-buy decisions and category investment while validating forecast accuracy.
• Conduct scenario planning and what-if analyses to guide go-forward recommendations.
