Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar discipline.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• US citizenship and Top Secret/SCI clearance + CI Polygraph.
• Strong Java or Python and Spring/SpringBoot experience.
• Solid SQL and relational data modeling.
• Experience with Neo4j or another property graph database; Cypher a plus.
• Ability to work in a structured contractor environment: Jira, Git, CI, and documentation.
• Ability to travel 5-10% of time for in-person meetings in the NCR.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Java services using Spring Boot.
• Model and query structured and graph data (SQL and Neo4j).
• Integrate services with enterprise data stores, APIs, and analytic pipelines.
• Contribute to AI-assisted analytic features, including grounded retrieval, graph-informed analytics, and ML-adjacent services.
• Write tests, participate in code review, and follow DevSecOps practices for a government program.
• Work as part of an agile contractor team with the prime, government stakeholders, and other subcontractors under security constraints.
• Attend quarterly planning meetings in person in the NCR.
• Proactively share feedback about Tom Sawyer Software's products to guide future developments.
