Job summary

Housecall is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer with deep PHP/Laravel experience to lead core platform services for a health care AI-enabled platform. You will partner with product, frontend, and mobile teams to deliver features, improve performance, and raise engineering standards.

You will own backend initiatives end-to-end, architect and maintain services and REST APIs, and drive security, testing, and reliability across the codebase and delivery pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production backend systems.
• 3+ years with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong relational database expertise (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Strong API design experience (versioning, auth, pagination).
