Job summary

Quotient (A VTG Company) is seeking a Software Developer for the JAMMEX program. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain software applications across the SDLC, delivering secure, high-quality, and scalable code to meet the JAMMEX program requirements.

The role requires 5+ years of software development experience, a Secret clearance (preferred), and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. You will collaborate with systems engineers, programmers, and QA teams in an Agile environment, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development and sustainment.
• Clearance: Secret preferred; DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Experience transitioning legacy systems to modern cloud-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain clean, efficient, and secure code based on system requirements and user stories.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of software applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, application programmers, and QA/test engineers to integrate software components.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Develop and update technical documentation, including software design specifications, user guides, and release notes.
• Remediate software vulnerabilities and ensure all code complies with DoD cybersecurity and IA (Information Assurance) guidelines.
