Job summary

Quotient (A VTG Company) seeks a cleared DevSecOps Developer in Maryland for on-site Ft. Meade duties with hybrid work options. You will design secure CI/CD pipelines, automate governance, and implement container hardening across defense cloud environments.

Responsibilities include building GitOps pipelines, enforcing DoDI 8430/cATO, and integrating SAST/DAST into automated flows while collaborating with development, security, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Must be local to Maryland and able to commute to Ft. Meade on-site as required.
• 5+ years in DevSecOps, DevOps, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Proven automation with Ansible and configuration management.
• Strong automation scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience integrating SAST/DAST/container scanning into pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design declarative GitOps CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Implement automated policy-as-code to satisfy DoDI 8430/cATO gates.
• Develop container hardening and security workflows (Iron Bank, Repo One).
• Architect and refactor microservices using Go, Python, Java or Rust; build tests.
