Job summary

SYSGRATION AMERICA CORPORATION in Plano, TX seeks a Process Engineer to design, validate, and improve backend processes after SMT assembly, including coating, dispensing, potting, and box build.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Production, Maintenance, NPI, and customers to ensure repeatable, compliant, and efficient manufacturing, while driving continuous improvement and DFx recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronics manufacturing experience or related backend processes.
• Experience with Conformal Coating, Assembly, Box Build, Dispensing, Potting or related processes preferred.
• EMS experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, maintain, and optimize backend processes after SMT assembly.
• Define and control process parameters, recipes, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop work instructions, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing sequences.
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues; drive root-cause analysis and CAPA.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plans, and production readiness reviews.
