Baker Tilly is seeking a Sr Platform Engineer — Backend to join the AI Product Group and help build and operate shared platform services powering AI applications across the firm. You will own backend services, authentication, data connectivity, and production reliability across a distributed team.

In this role you will collaborate with platform leadership, AI engineers, data teams, and global staff to deliver scalable, secure backend solutions and maintainable production systems that meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of hands-on backend/platform software engineering experience in production.
• Experience building, deploying, and operating shared backend services in production.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and entitlement capabilities.
• Develop secure data access interfaces and MCP endpoints for enterprise data.
• Support scalable platform architecture with reusable services and stable interfaces.
• Develop event-driven telemetry and observability pipelines for production systems.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Own production deployment, monitoring, and reliability of services.
• Contribute to engineering standards and reusable components.
