Job summary

Intelliswift - An LTTS Company is seeking an experienced Backend API Developer to build secure, scalable APIs powering mission-critical platforms. You will design high-performance services, tackle complex integration challenges, and embed security into every stage of development.

At least 3+ years with Python, Node.js, and SQL, plus hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS/SSL, API gateways, and cloud-based microservices (AWS/Azure/GC).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production-grade API/backend experience.
• Strong Python, Node.js, and SQL skills.
• Experience with OAuth2.0, OIDC, JWT, TLS/SSL.
• Familiar with API gateways, monitoring, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to GraphQL and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure APIs and backend services at scale.
• Implement security best practices and secure integration patterns.
• Own API lifecycle from architecture to deployment and governance.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation.

We're looking for an experienced Backend API Developer to help build and evolve a portfolio of secure, scalable APIs powering mission-critical business platforms. What You'll Be Working On

• Design, develop, and enhance secure APIs and backend services built for scale, reliability, and flexibility.
• Implement modern security practices including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, encryption standards, rate limiting, and secure integration patterns.
• Own the API lifecycle—from architecture and development to deployment, monitoring, optimization, and governance.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, testing, vulnerability assessments, and well-maintained technical documentation.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience building and supporting production-grade APIs and backend application.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Node.js, and SQL.
• Expertise with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS/SSL, and secure data handling.
• Experience with API gateways, monitoring, logging, alerting, and third-party integration.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture on AWS (preferred), Azure, or GC.
• Exposure to GraphQL, CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and OWASP API Security Top 1.
• Additional programming experience in C#, Java, or Go is a plus.
