Ladders is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer, Integrations to design and scale backend systems powering integrations and authentication workflows. You will build reliable APIs, create reusable connectors, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure a secure, maintainable platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building production applications on cloud platforms with Docker and Kubernetes
• Expert proficiency in SQL and databases (PostgreSQL, Neo4j)
• Hands-on experience building GraphQL backends, including federated architectures

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend APIs in GraphQL with multi-account query scoping
• Build and extend the integration router with reusable connectors and workflow configurations
• Ensure production reliability for API and integration services through monitoring and alerting
• Contribute to the platform and OAuth proxy layer for authentication and workflows
• Develop production code that maintains high standards for quality and design
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance integrated customer experiences
• Mentor junior engineers and help scale the team as it grows
