Job summary

Horizon3.ai seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to join our world-class software team and own the security controls integration platform. You will develop per-vendor normalizers, live API pipelines, internal schemas, and manage versioning, deprecations, fault tolerance, and health monitoring.

You will collaborate with the broader backend team on scale and reliability while mentoring juniors in a fast-paced Agile environment. Remote-friendly with hybrid options across the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering using modern languages (Python, Java, Go, Scala, C++, TS).
• Experience on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Expert proficiency in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and build dedicated normalizers per EDR vendor, keeping APIs trustworthy as they evolve.
• Develop core product features in ETL and GraphQL to support data processing and retrieval.
• Design and implement backend APIs in GraphQL for data interactions.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for efficient data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with frontend to present data clearly and improve UX.
