Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience across full stack.
• Expert in Java, Spring Boot, and API development.
• Backend-first with ability to work across the full stack.
• Frontend experience with Angular and/or React.
• Strong SQL skills and database performance tuning (RDS).
• AWS experience including Lambda and RDS.
• Experience in performance testing, automation, and unit testing.
• Ability to understand and tune AI-generated code for quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Investigate production issues and implement mitigations and durable fixes.
• Build REST APIs for reliability and scalability; optimize cloud-based apps on AWS.
• Analyze database performance and optimize queries.
• Develop frontend features using Angular and/or React.
• Improve unit tests, automated tests, and performance testing practices.
• Review code, manage risks, and simplify infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, data, compliance, and engineering teams.
