Cadence is seeking a Sr Engineering Manager to lead a backend team responsible for Cadence workflow orchestration engine. You will mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and collaborate with product and the broader community to deliver scalable distributed systems.

You will drive multi-project delivery, define architecture, and improve onboarding, observability, and reliability while engaging with open source participants to influence Cadence's direction.

Qualificações

• Experience leading and developing software engineering organizations, including experience managing engineering managers.
• Strong background building backend infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience with highly scalable, high throughput, low latency, multi tenant systems.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and system design.
• Experience with Go, Java, or C++.
• Strong technical leadership with ability to guide architecture and strategy.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow an engineering organization responsible for building and operating Cadence workflow orchestration engine.
• Drive execution of multiple technical projects from strategy through delivery.
• Partner with engineering leaders to define architecture and engineering best practices.
• Develop engineering managers and senior engineers through coaching and career growth support.
• Contribute to an open source project used by many major companies.
• Improve onboarding, observability, reliability, and operability experiences for Cadence.
• Collaborate with open source community and shape the future of Cadence.
• Define and improve internal and community engineering processes.
• Build partnerships across engineering, product, and other teams to drive alignment.
• Establish and communicate long-term technical and organizational strategy.
