Ideal candidates have 5+ years in backend engineering and deep experience with Python/Java/C#/C++, plus a strong grasp of distributed systems, databases, messaging, and APIs in financial markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' backend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Python, Java, C# or C++.
• Experience building and designing backend systems from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases, messaging and APIs.
• Experience with performance optimisation and scalability.
• Experience across FICC / Fixed Income, Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities or derivatives.
• Ownership from design through to production.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical stakeholders.
