Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help a security integrations platform move from reporting risks to enforcing policy. You’ll work on the path between verdicts and actions: warning or blocking unsafe installs, serving safer alternatives and coordinating revocation across a customer fleet.

The stack centers on TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, Python and Google Cloud, with emphasis on robust event-driven backends, secure enforcement paths, and auditable privileged actions.

Qualifications

• Three+ years as backend engineer with third-party API integrations.
• Server-side experience in TypeScript, Go or Python with appropriate tool choice.
• Experience with event-driven systems and dependable integration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the initial four-week project to ship install interception for Claude Code via client hooks and MCP server.
• Build secure enforcement paths and record intercepted installs as events.
• Design and implement robust integrations with third‑party security, infrastructure or identity APIs.
• Develop event‑driven backends with queues, webhooks, idempotency, retries and back‑pressure.
• Make privileged actions safe with approval flows, dry runs, audit logs and rollback mechanisms.
• Possibly extend to fleet revocation via endpoint, repository and browser controls and security platforms.
