Qualifications

• Have built and run event-driven backend systems in production.
• Proficient in at least one backend language (Python/Go/Rust) with experience using Kafka.
• Own a system end-to-end: design, tradeoffs, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the event bus and normalized event schema.
• Build correlation and alerting to turn events into analyst-ready alerts.
• Develop classification and analytics pipelines across multiple sensors.
• Create analyst surfaces: queues, dashboards, and video wall content.
• Deliver durable audit evidence and tamper-evident history.
• Instrument metrics, self-monitoring, and change audits for rules.
• Deploy across sites and config sync between components.
