OpenAI is seeking a software engineer to design and build scalable fraud detection and remediation systems within the Scaled Abuse team, balancing fraud loss, implementation cost, and user experience.

You will collaborate with Trust & Safety, Security, Product, and Research to understand attack patterns, translate signals into reliable behavior, and harden the platform using Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, Python, Postgres, and Kafka.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with backend/data systems.
• Experience in fraud or abuse analysis, investigation, or operations.
• Ability to read and dive into unfamiliar codebases and design robust systems.
