Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong security fundamentos.
• Comfortable across TypeScript, Rust, and Python; multi-language integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Build detection systems from scratch, including rules engines and anomaly signals.
• Investigate incidents hands-on when fraud spikes occur and ship fixes.
• Partner with payments to embed fraud controls in the flow and prevent abuse.
• Stop automated abuse with signals that deter bot signups and token farming.
• Prevent account takeover through detection and friction without harming signups.
• Iterate with data to tune thresholds and reduce false positives.
