Job summary

Leap Tools Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer, Backend (Europe) to design and scale backend systems powering our remote, room-visualization platform. You will join a remote-first, full-time engineering team delivering high-availability services to a global customer base.

8+ years in software development, building scalable backend systems.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
Experience mentoring senior engineers and guiding multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Drive design, architecture, and delivery of scalable backend systems for 3D and computer vision.
Lead APIs, data pipelines, and services that power high-traffic, global applications.
Partner with product and engineering leadership to define technical direction and scale.
Mentor senior engineers and conduct architecture reviews to enable fast, high-quality delivery.
Champion engineering excellence and set a high standard for backend systems.
Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams and stakeholders.
Help shape long-term technical vision and culture of the engineering org.
Influence hiring, onboarding, and growth to build a strong team.
