MoonPay Enterprise is hiring backend engineers to design and operate reliable, secure, high-throughput backend services. Roles span KYB/KYC, new custody-focused lines, and on-chain infrastructure, with emphasis on Rust and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, shipping and operating production systems at scale.
• Strong backend experience with statically compiled languages (Rust, Go, C#, C++).
• Interest in Rust and motivation to become an expert welcomed since services are written in Rust.
• Solid fundamentals in distributed systems, API design, data modeling, and asynchronous processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services written in Rust processing high-volume financial transactions with strong guarantees around correctness and auditability.
• Own features end-to-end from spec through design, implementation, testing, deployment, to production monitoring.
• Integrate with banks, payment processors, blockchains, and identity/compliance vendors; build reliable high-level abstractions.
