Job summary

MoonPay Enterprise is hiring backend engineers across multiple tracks to design and operate reliable, secure, high-throughput services for value movement. Tracks include KYB/KYC compliance, new custody-focused product lines, and on-chain infrastructure with Rust-based systems.

You’ll work in a high-velocity, autonomous environment with global teams, prioritizing outcomes and responsible AI usage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend experience shipping production systems at scale.
• Strong backend experience with a statically typed language (Rust, Go, C#, C++).
• Interest in Rust and AI-assisted development; crypto domain interest welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services processing high-volume financial transactions with correctness and auditability.
• Own features end-to-end from spec to deployment and monitoring, proposing valuable work.
• Integrate with banks, payment processors, blockchains, and identity vendors; build reliable abstractions.
• Improve observability, security practices, and API design across teams.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and engineering across MoonPay’s network.
• Staff level: set technical direction and mentor engineers across multiple teams.
