You will design reusable components, enforce rigorous correctness, and lead backend engineers while partnering with data, AI, and product teams to translate domain logic into robust services. Expect high accountability for traceability, auditability, and reproducibility of every computation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering in Python, Go, Java, or similar, including Staff+ level ownership of complex data-intensive systems.
• Production Python with strong service design and testing practices.
• Elite SQL and data modeling with window functions and large-scale joins.
• Set-based, reproducible computation over a data warehouse such as Snowflake or PostgreSQL.
• Configuration-driven architecture with extensible services or rules engines.
• Strong system design for reliability, isolation, and reproducibility.
• Technical leadership setting patterns, reviewing designs, and mentoring engineers.
