DrFirst is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Development team, building backend services and APIs in a remote-first environment across the United States. You will contribute to Java/Kotlin microservices and may assist with UI tasks, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software.

You will tackle API integrations, participate in design reviews, and mentor peers while aligning with best practices and modern tooling.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in backend development on a software team.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, REST, and messaging.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Ability to rapidly learn a new codebase.
• Familiarity with development best practices and design patterns.
• Ability to adapt to team standards and workflow.
• Excellent communication with peers and stakeholders.
• Some experience with front-end technologies (Vue/React/Angular).

• Develop integrations by researching APIs.
