Job summary

Nourish is hiring Senior Backend Engineers to join a fast-growing team shaping the core platform. You will own major backend components, collaborating with product, design, and analytics to deliver scalable features that enable AI-driven care delivery across the US.

You’ll report to the Engineering Manager and drive timelines, design, and execution within cross-functional pods. This full-time hybrid role is based in San Francisco with remote candidacy welcomed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend focused software engineering experience.
• 3+ years using TypeScript, Node.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, AWS.
• Experience shipping production-grade services end-to-end.
• Ability to design scalable backend architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features quickly while maintaining quality.
• Improve engineering processes, tools, and systems for scalability.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering and analytics on data-driven problems.
• Contribute to estimations, planning and execution of projects.
• Maintain and evolve backend services and infrastructure.
• Write clean, well-tested code that meets performance standards.
