Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a seasoned backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based cybersecurity solutions. You will build distributed systems, implement microservices, and optimize event-driven architectures across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.

In this role, you will contribute to telemetry, observability, and dependability while collaborating with frontend teams and other engineers. This position is remote-friendly within the US and offers a competitive compensation package

Qualifications

• Experience building backend modules for distributed systems using microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and service mesh patterns.
• Experience deploying cloud-based solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, Postgres, and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch for analytics and storage.
• Experience building REST APIs with Spring Boot or Gin, including auth, versioning, and OpenAPI docs.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with concurrency and performance optimization.
• Strong debugging/tracing with Jaeger/Zipkin, ELK/Prometheus/Grafana.
• Collaborative coding, code reviews, and PR management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for cloud-based cybersecurity solutions.
• Build distributed architectures and endpoints management platforms.
• Lead initiatives on sensor telemetry, debuggability, and observability.
• Create scalable cloud infrastructure components with monitoring and testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate across teams to integrate frontend and backend.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to teammates.
• Implement microservices and event-driven patterns for scalability.
