Job summary

DC International is seeking a seasoned Senior Backend/Operations Developer to work across C#/.NET applications, APIs, and data services. The role emphasizes ownership, code quality, and collaboration in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

You will mentor junior and mid-level developers, improve APIs and databases, and help raise the technical bar with cross-team initiatives. The position includes remote work with quarterly on-site weeks in Carrollton, TX.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend or systems development experience (production experience valued).
• Deep proficiency in the Microsoft stack, especially C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Writes clean, maintainable, performance-conscious SQL and database interactions.
• Strong API design, development, and integration experience.
• Proven track record of stepping into existing systems and confidently enhancing and modernizing them.
• Experience mentoring developers and leading code review.
• Adaptable and self-directed, with a history of quickly mastering new tools and contexts.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, enhance, and refactor existing C# and .NET applications.
• Architect, implement, and maintain APIs and background services.
• Write, tune, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Design and develop Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power Automate.
• Design, integrate, and test with internal and external third-party APIs.
• Design and build automation workflows that measurably improve operational efficiency.
• Lead Git-based workflows, pull requests, and code reviews, mentoring peers on code quality.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines to deploy and monitor changes.
• Use development tools such as Visual Studio and VS Code effectively.
