Job summary

Atria is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of our backend systems. You will work remotely with a cross-functional team to deliver robust, scalable solutions that power our AI-native advertising platform.

Responsibilities include designing and refining Python services, ensuring performance and quality, and fixing bottlenecks. The role demands strong problem-solving and excellent communication in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development, familiar with Python.
• Proficiency in FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Experience with cloud services and cloud architecture.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
• Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including OpenAI and Gemini.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, CloudFront).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
